# Product Sourcing in China

## What we coordinate

- **Comparable quotations and samples**: We request quotations for the **same specification**, note what each price includes or leaves out, and coordinate sample orders and your feedback.
- **Terms before you order**: We document the *MOQ* (minimum order quantity), tooling, packaging, payment milestones and production timing, and list the open points that need **your approval**.

## How it works

2. **Search and screen**: We identify candidate suppliers and check the **company and capability information** available.
3. **Compare and sample**: We normalize quotations, coordinate samples and point out **trade-offs** and missing details.
4. **Prepare the order**: We confirm the route you choose and document the commercial points that need **your approval**.

## Scope and limits

- A shortlist *does not guarantee* a supplier’s future performance.
- Factory audits, lab testing, inspections, freight and customs work are *separate* unless included in the written scope.
- The final supplier choice, contract approval and payment authorization *remain with you*.

## Common questions

- Q: How much does a China sourcing agent cost?
  A: InterBridge quotes product sourcing **per scope**, and you agree the quote before any work starts. The price depends on how many products and suppliers are involved, how complex the specification is, how many samples are needed and whether visits are required. Third-party costs such as samples, freight and lab testing are *separate*.
- Q: How long does it take to find a supplier in China?
  A: The time to find a supplier in China depends on how **complete your brief** is, how specialized the product is and how quickly suppliers answer. Sample production and shipping add time. InterBridge shares an expected schedule when the scope is agreed but *cannot promise a fixed date*.
- Q: Do I need to visit China to source products?
  A: **No.** InterBridge can run supplier search, quotation comparison and sample follow-up remotely, and you review the results from wherever you are. A visit is *optional*, for example to meet shortlisted suppliers or see samples in person, and InterBridge can plan it as a separate market-visit itinerary.
- Q: Can you work with a supplier I already found?
  A: **Yes.** InterBridge can take an existing supplier and check the quotation, follow up samples, review the company information available or coordinate production. Tell the agent which stage you are at, for example *before a deposit* or before a repeat order, so the scope covers only what you need.
- Q: How do you check that a Chinese supplier is real?
  A: InterBridge checks the **company and capability information** available for each supplier before it goes on a shortlist. Screening reduces uncertainty but *cannot guarantee* performance. Factory audits, inspections and lab tests are separate services quoted in the scope, and InterBridge can coordinate them before you pay a deposit or ship.
- Q: What if the supplier does not deliver what was agreed?
  A: InterBridge does *not guarantee* supplier performance, so the scope builds in checks before you commit: comparable quotations, sample approval and, if you add them, factory audits and inspections. If an order goes wrong after payment, **supplier dispute support** is a separate service that starts by organizing your evidence.
